Jeff (aka “Jafo”)
Creative Director
Jeff often wakes up in the middle of the night in cold sweat scrambling to find anything (paper, t-shirt, cat…whatever) on which to jot down the latest creative gem he’s just dreamt up. Seriously, this actually happens. Often. Bad for Jeff, but great for you.
Tribe’s resident creative genius, Jeff brings more than 13 years of cutting-edge art direction and design experience to the table. (Sorry, couldn’t help ourselves).
Chrissy (aka “Duke’s mom”)
Director of Online Marketing
There’s a lot of rhetoric out there whereby everyone has suddenly become an online marketing expert. Don’t believe it. Even some of the world’s most seasoned marketing professionals are out of their element in an online world. Not Chrissy. Online marketing has been the focus of her entire career. So while others are still fighting the learning curve, Chrissy is charging full speed ahead to take your business to new levels of online awareness.
With a broad range of online marketing experience that includes leadership positions at well-known companies such as SignOnSanDiego.com and Provide Commerce, Chrissy’s expertise includes email marketing, Google analytics, WebTrends, Google Adwords, SEM, SEO and PPC. On top of all that, she holds an MBA in Marketing from San Diego State University. Or to put it all in simpler terms, Chrissy’s a smart gal who eats newfangled online marketing acronyms for breakfast and comes back hungry again before lunch time. Bon appetite.
Scott (aka “The Wordsmith”)
Director of Content Development
Two hallmarks of any marketing writer worth his salt: He’s never completely satisfied with what’s written, while his clients are never anything less than completely satisfied. That’s Scott in a nutshell. A writer as versatile as he is prolific, Scott has developed compelling marketing and public relations content for clients spanning a diverse array of industries, including sports, homebuilding, finance, contracting, motivational speaking, biotech and IT, and has done so across a range of mediums including print, broadcast and web.
A former sportswriter and journalist by trade who holds an MA in Mass Communication from San Diego State University, Scott rounds out the Tribe team by developing all written content for our clients, working hand-in-hand with the rest of the creative and client services team each step of the way. To use a sports analogy, it’s kind of like Magic Johnson running the fast break and kicking it out to Larry Bird, who swings it over to Michael Jordan, who dishes it inside to Shaq for the monster jam. Tribe’s clients 2, competition 0.
